The summer after graduation is supposed to be that first real taste of freedom - but not for eighteen-year-old Chloe Branson. Just as that breeze of freedom is making its way into her galaxy, her secret-service-agent dad drops a meteor-sized bomb of bad news on her and her sisters. An attempt has been made on the lives of Canadian boyband, Spaceships Around Saturn, during their USA tour, and the guys have to go into hiding ASAP. The only problem? In the midst of the crisis and media frenzy, their dad volunteered to hide the guys...in their house.

Six-year-old Emery is as ecstatic as any self-proclaimed Saturnite would be, but Chloe and her seventeen-year-old sister Aralie watch their summer plans crash and burn like a falling star. The SAS guys aren't happy with the situation, either. Bad boy Jules picks fights with Aralie about everything from his Twitter followers to his laundry, and heart-throb Benji can't escape Emery's fangirlisms for more than three minutes.
But after the super-cute Milo kisses Chloe during a game of hide-and-seek, she finally understands what Emery means when she talks about SAS being "out of this world." If this is what Saturn feels like, Chloe doesn't want to come back to Earth. (via Goodreads)
I'm doing my best to stay composed in here. Inside, I'm shouting. I'm swooning. I'm doing some acrobatics. I'm not kidding, okay? That's what my insides are doing right now. Actually ever since I finished reading AGOS last night. I. Cannot. Stop. Thinking. About. Milo. I was thinking about him right before I fell asleep last night and the moment I woke up this morning, he's still there. You'd know by now that this will be more of gushing and swooning than a proper review. I hope I can put into words the greatness of this novel.

Right from the start, I knew I'd love this one. The writing was so smooth. The words were so natural and appropriate in all the sentences. I don't know if I make sense but that's how I felt. This was written in a way that was supposed to make you feel what Chloe was feeling. Mind you, you'll get what she feels so much. So much that you'd pray: #IWantToBeABransonSister.

What can I say that will make you read this? Oh, other than the awesome writing, there are boys. Boys that came from another world. And I should probably mention that they're from a boy band too. So what's not to love about them? They are so cute and lovable and all together great. Yes, each and every one of them has his own flaws. Just like with the Branson sisters. But that's part of who they are and probably a reason for you to love them more.

I hate to play favorites, really. But I love Milo the best. Not just because he was the male interest of Chloe. He is the epitome of a great young man. Okay, that's for me. So don't hate if you love Noah, Tate, Jules or Benji. He is absolutely handsome. He freaking smells so good. I can smell him right now. He has those tantalizing eyes that can melt any girl's knees. I might have lost my balance while reading if I wasn't lying on the bed. He definitely has a great voice. I can totally listen to his voice all day long. And of course, he is absolutely a gentleman and sweet. What can you ask for more, ladies? Oh wait, I forgot! I also love the way he showed his vulnerability to Chloe. It was sooo sweet, you girls.

Sure enough, as much as the lockdown sounds so sweet, there were problems. But I guess those come in terms with their reality that the boys are so famous. It comes with a price as everyone would say. But hey, I believe in Chloe and Milo so I know they'd be fine.

Everything about this novel is just lovable. How Emery always annoy Benji. How Chloe and Milo sneaks up during midnight. How Aralie and Jules fight like cat and mouse. How Tate's face always end up in Chloe's bedroom door. How Noah teases Chloe and Milo. How they were able to know one another in a deeper level. How Noah (he's my next favorite) is such a sweet guy to Chloe. How that lockdown wasn't just a summer fling.

Okay. I can go on and on and on the things I love about this but it won't be enough for you. You have to read this for yourself especially if you're such a fangirl!

American Girl on Saturn is definitely one of the most amazing YA novels I've read this year. It was light, yes. But it was that kind of light read that will make you swoon, laugh, hurt, and be happy after so much. Words aren't enough to explain how much I enjoyed reading this. I kept smiling like a fool. Even now actually! So what are you waiting for! BUY NOW!!!!!!!
