What if you’d been living your life as if you were dying—only to find out that you had your whole future ahead of you?
When sixteen-year-old Alice is diagnosed with leukemia, her prognosis is grim. To maximize the time she does have, she vows to spend her final months righting wrongs—however she sees fit. She convinces her friend Harvey, whom she knows has always had feelings for her, to help her with a crazy bucket list that’s as much about revenge (humiliating her ex-boyfriend and getting back at her arch nemesis) as it is about hope (doing something unexpectedly kind for a stranger and reliving some childhood memories). But just when Alice’s scores are settled, she goes into remission.
Now Alice is forced to face the consequences of all that she’s said and done, as well as her true feelings for Harvey. But has she done irreparable damage to the people around her, and to the one person who matters most?
Julie Murphy’s SIDE EFFECTS MAY VARY is a fearless and moving tour de force about love, life, and facing your own mortality. (via Goodreads)

I've been waiting for this book to come out. Fortunately tomorrow is its release day. I just wish that the local bookstores here have it already. *crossing my fingers*
In celebrating its release tomorrow, Julie asked some bloggers to share their bucket list. Thank you for this opportunity, Julie.
Since it's a never-ending list for me, I chose the TOP 6.

1. HOME LIBRARY
The first time I saw this in Beauty and the Beast, I knew I need to have my own library. Who doesn't right? I think this is every girl's dream. BUT WAIT. This is too idealistic for me. As long as I have a library at home when I have my own house, it's all good.

2. FINISH TBR LIST
I'm not insane or anything and I know this is probably impossible. But I'm dreaming of reading every book that I want. You do dream of this too, right?

3. TRAVEL AROUND EUROPE
Yes, I do want to travel the whole continent. Come on, it's Europe. Do I need to say more?

4. GO CAMPING
You might laugh at me. But I've never went camping. I know. It's not a usual outdoor trip in our country. Though I think I'm going to cross this off SOON. Well, wish me luck.

5. LEARN FOREIGN LANGUAGE
This has always been in my list. I did learn some Spanish two years ago. Though I didn't enjoy it that much. I'm interested in learning French, Italian, Japanese and Korean.

6. START A FOUNDATION/CHARITY
This is probably the 2nd most insane in my list. I'm no Mother Theresa. But I learned that helping is one fulfilling act to do. And I really do enjoy helping out people. I'm not yet sure if I want an orphanage for kids, a shelter for abused kids and teenagers or a home for the elders. Trust me, if I can only extend help to everyone who needs it, I will. This is probably my greatest dream of all. Pray for me to accomplish it someday, folks.
What about you? What's on your list?

That's a really great list! So many of those are on mine as well... like learning a foreign language, having my own library (I have a mini one now, but not enough), finish my TBR list... but like you, that likely won't ever happen (:
REPLYI know. I don't even know why I included that. But we need to have a goal, right? ;)
REPLYHey, there! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Feel free to leave a comment. I'd love to hear from you! I'll reply as soon as I can! ;)
