Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read! :)

Q: Have you ever broken up with a series? If so, which one and why?

A: Yes, of course! A number of series actually. Here are three of them:

1. Matched series. The first one was good. But I just felt like it was more contemporary than dystopian. Also, I don't want to dwell on a love-triangle romance that I decided to drop it.
2. Vampire Academy series. Sorry, ladies. Most of you probably loved it. But I just don't. There's something about it that makes me so bored. There, I said it. I found the first book boring and dragging in some ways.
3. Immortals series. My friend recommended this to me. So I gave it a shot. I was so intrigued okay! But then I learned the twist then I realized it was too meh. I just didn't like it.

What about you? What series have you broken up with and why? Link below! :)

Hopping through. I loved the first Immortals book, but I didn't like the rest. I couldn't finish the second.

I haven't read any of those, though I've seen each of them more than once this week, so I probably won't. :D Great picks! :D Old follower via bloglovin'.

I like the Matched series... but am tired of Vampires so I haven't given Vampire Academy a chance yet.

I have only read the first Matched book, but I really enjoyed it! I have heard many people say they did not like the series so I will see how I feel about it eventually but it is not on the top of my priorities list!

Matched has been on my TBR for oh so long, still haven't gotten to it. I'm never going to even try the Immortals series, but VA??!

Everyone's got there own preferences though. :)

I only read the first two in the Immortals series, and regretted wasting my money! I didn't care for the series at all.

Sorry about these series. I actually have not read any of them. think the only one I was willing to try was Matched, but everytime I go to the book store and I pick up the first book, I always find myself putting it back down for something better.

I haven't read Matched or Immortals, but I did love the Vampire Academy series (although book 3 wasn't my favorite).

Here's my FF.

I've actually heard that about the Matched series quite often, which is disappointing considering I recently purchased the box set :(

Thanks for hopping through! I didn't even started the second book.

Nina Waters said...

Oh you might like them anyway! ;)

Nina Waters said...

You should give it a try sometime! Maybe you'll like it.

Nina Waters said...

Maybe I didn't like VA that much because I was too tired of vampires when I read it! But still, won't read it again! Oh, how did Matched series ended?

Nina Waters said...

Tell me when you've finished it! My friends actually liked it.

Nina Waters said...

It's okay! :)

Nina Waters said...

Here I am! I know. My friends liked VA. But I will do watch its movie when it's out!

Nina Waters said...

I know right? But I'm curious as to how it turns out in the end.

Nina Waters said...

Same here! I actually sold it to someone. We shouldn't buy books in a series at once. We should definitely read the first book before buying the next ones.

Nina Waters said...

But maybe you'll like them!

Nina Waters said...

Well, it's a relief I'm not alone on this one.

Nina Waters said...

Thank you! You too.

Nina Waters said...

I think I'm one of the few who didn't like VA! Everyone seemed to like it.

Nina Waters said...

That's the bad thing about buying the box set when we haven't started the first book. But I hope you'll like it anyway. :)

Nina Waters said...

Maybe that's a good sign then!
